Psychotherapy is healing in relationship.

A space for remembering.

Mourning.

Liberation.

Reclamation.

For beginning again.

I join people in healing from:

Complex Trauma- trauma that is repetitive, prolonged, or cumulative, typically occurring within close relationships at developmentally significant life stages, such as early childhood.

Religious Trauma-the physical, emotional, or psychological response to religious beliefs, practices, or structures that is experienced by an individual as overwhelming or disruptive and has lasting adverse effects on a person’s physical, mental, social, emotional, or spiritual well-being. (*Religious Trauma Institute)

Attachment Injury-relational injuries that often result in defenses in relationships and negative beliefs about the self, others, and the world.

Death and Dying-for those facing end of life-a final integration of the life that has been lived. A goodbye to this life, this body, the earth, and loved ones.

Grief and Loss-mourning of a life, a job, a relationship, a community, a belief system. What was once had and is now lost. What never got to be experienced or known.

“Put down the weight of your aloneness and ease into the conversation. The kettle is singing even as it pours you a drink, the cooking pots have left their arrogant aloofness and seen the good in you at last. All the birds and creatures of the world are unutterably themselves. Everything is waiting for you.”

— David Whyte, ‘Everything is Waiting for You’

Practice Info

  • I see clients in-person in the Berry Hill neighborhood of Nashville: 416 East Iris Drive, Nashville, TN 37204.

  • $125 for a 55-minute session.

  • Unfortunately, I do not accept insurance at this time. However, depending on your plan, I’m able to provide a superbill for potential reimbursement.

  • Yes! I do maintain several sliding scale spots on my caseload. These spots are currently full.

  • I see clients on a weekly basis when beginning therapy. I believe this helps establish a relationship between therapist and client and cultivates a flow for working together. After two months, we can revisit the frequency of our sessions and adjust as needed.

  • Each client receives one ‘grace’ late-cancellation and will not be charged. From there, clients who do not show or cancel within a 24-hour window of the scheduled session will be charged the full session fee.

  • Yes! I am committed to providing safe, compassionate, and affirming care that welcomes all identifies.

  • In January of 2022, Tennessee legislators enacted the No Surpises Act and Good Faith Estimate to protect people receiving medical services outside of insurance from receiving surprise bills for their care. Mental health services are considered a medical service under this act. Therefore, you have the right to receive an estimate for the expected cost of psychotherapy services provided to you. This Good Faith Estimate is provided when you first begin therapy and are completing intake paperwork in your client portal. Given the individualized nature of therapy, it is not possible to know in advance how many sessions are needed or approprirate for any given person. Your total cost of services will depend on your individual circumstances, your therapy goals, the number of sessions you attend, and the type and amount of services provided to you. It is important to know the Good Faith estimate is not a contract and does not obligate you to obtain services from me.

  • Soon to come! I am in the process of partnering with Journey Clinical to facilitate KAP.
